How do I book a tour?
Your booking method depends on the type of tour you’ve booked: Day Tours: Complete our online form and fill out all required information. Kangaroo Island Tours: Online form or over the phone, providing all relevant information.
How do I pay for a tour?
Your payment method depends on the type of tour you’ve booked: Day Tours: Full payment is required at the time of booking via our secure online system to confirm your seat. We accept all major payment methods provided on our website. Kangaroo Island Tours: For bookings made more than 30 days in advance, a 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot, with the balance due 30 days before departure. For bookings made within 30 days of the tour, full payment is required immediately. Payments can be made online, via direct debit, or over the phone.
What is your refund policy if I need to cancel?
Our policy depends on the type of tour you’ve booked: Day Tours: You’ll receive a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the tour date. No refunds are available for cancellations made within 24 hours. Kangaroo Island Tours: You’ll receive a full refund minus the 10% deposit if you cancel 30 or more days before the tour. If you cancel 14 days or more before the tour, you will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the tour are non-refundable.
Can I reschedule my booking?
We are happy to reschedule, subject to availability! Please give us at least 24 hours' notice for Day Tours and 30 days' notice for Kangaroo Island Tours. Please note that additional fees may apply for rescheduling.
Will the itineraries ever change?
While we strive to stick to our planned route, we may occasionally need to adjust the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances like weather, road conditions, or safety concerns. We will always do our best to keep you informed of any changes.
What happens if a private tour runs over the scheduled time?
We love a good adventure, but if a private tour extends beyond the agreed finish time, an additional fee of $100 per hour will apply to cover the extended vehicle and driver costs.
What happens if Discover Adelaide cancels my tour?
While we always aim to run every scheduled experience, sometimes factors beyond our control, such as extreme weather, not meeting minimum passenger numbers, or other unforeseen circumstances, make it necessary to cancel. If we must cancel your tour, you will have two options: A Full Refund: We will return 100% of your payment immediately. An Alternative Tour: You can choose to join an alternative experience of equal value, depending on your preference and our current availability. We will always make every effort to notify you as soon as possible if any changes occur.
